Alternative energy, especially wind energy has been the buzz for a few years now yet it is just coming into its own as a viable alternative to fossil fuels.

Below are pictures from Baker, Montana. The pictures were taken around the Medicine Rock area after a windstorm in late summer 2009. The bales can weigh up to 1600 lbs and some were reported to have rolled up to 5 miles.
