BCBS If You Knew, What Would You Do?
As part of an ongoing effort to empower healthcare consumers, BCBSND provides its members with extensive information about healthy lifestyle choices, early detection and treatment, and how to best manage and utilize resources—all aimed at reducing costs by taking a preventive approach to care and by encouraging members to use services appropriately.
The earlier a disease is detected, the better the chance it can be cured or successfully managed. The “If you knew…what would you do” campaign is designed to increase consumers’ awareness and understanding of risk factors, medical conditions and illness, and to encourage them to make the choice to take part in health screenings and diagnostic testing.
